Searching for Eden
a romantic comedy
love story by James Still
Sat. Nov. 15 at 2 p.m. & Mon. Nov. 17 at 7 p.m.
Based on short stories by Mark Twain, we see Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden where they discover the newly created world around them, create language, and the battle of the sexes begins. But the first man and woman soon become the first couple, as James Still weaves a captivating love story in amidst the comedy.
The couple, having been evicted from the Garden, return as middle-age professional couple when Adam books a vacation package to the present day Eden, which has been turned into an upscale preppy summer resort!
Comedy abounds while the underlying romantic story explores what it means to be in love .... for a very long time.
Cast: one man and one woman playing characters that are not age-specific.
The cast and crewmembers collected personal Valentine messages and business advertisements to appear in the program. The Vicksburg Theatre Guild lowered advertising rates for this performance. More...
